Training for Early Years Practitioners

We teach Early Years practitioners key language and behaviours to support children to enjoy eating healthy food. The outcome is better mealtimes and snack times: children eat a wider variety of food, and the overall experience is calmer and more enjoyable for both children and practitioners.

For example, one boy is now asking his parents for something new on his plate at every meal, after practitioners attended a workshop and put the guidance into practice at an Early Years Centre.

Training content is based on evidence from hundreds of group experiences with children aged 2-5 years, so we know it works. Look at the “Successes” page to find out more examples.

Check out the video on the right to see a group experience with some enthusiastic children! This is the only group experience that has been recorded on video, and represents a typical outcome from children who have had several similar group experiences.
